Hot Hepburn Hint #12

I’m currently recovering from a week-long vacation from healthy eating. After 10 months of Tracy Anderson workouts and post-baby-body diet meals like romaine salads and fruit trays, I caved. And guess what? It felt good. No, let me rephrase that – it felt REALLY good.

It began with movie theatre popcorn. Two hours later, I had butter in my hair and the gallon-size bucket of popcorn was gone. Then, I ate cheese fries from a street vendor. It continued on with double-decker cookie sandwiches with icing centers. And Breyers ice cream. And pancakes. I specifically remember at least one trip through the McDonald’s drive-thru, and at one point, I actually dipped a spoon into a dish of plain butter and polished off the contents. It wasn’t pretty, my friends.

But then, I remembered our lovely Audrey’s encouraging words, “Let’s face it, a nice creamy chocolate cake does a lot for a lot of people; it does for me.” It does a lot for me, too, Audrey.

So, in honor of her (and high-calorie treats everywhere), this week’s Hot Hepburn Hint is…

EAT DESSERT!

Next week I’ll most likely be back on the wagon with my green apples, organic granola bars and Smartwater, but for this week, it’s been nice to remember that you only live once. So order that Turtle cheesecake today!
